41. Georgia -7.6

Gee...I didn't see that coming. Buncha chain-smoking, obese idiots who drive like chipmunks on crack; of course they're not "healthy".

How the Rankings Were Determined

The rankings were based on a state-by-state analysis of several public health statistics supplied by the federal government and other sources. Those factors included risk factors that are indicators of behaviors and activities that are related to the healthiness of a population, including:

Prevalence of smoking- still very prevalent.

Motor vehicle deaths- see above "chipmunks on crack" comment.

Violent crime- We can thank Atlanta and Savannah for this one.

Risk for heart disease- Why yes, I would like more fried chicken, biscuits (made with lard) and gravy, thank you.

High school graduation- You'll recall GA is 50th out of 50 states in SAT scores.

Children in poverty- Lots.

Adequacy of prenatal care- Pretty bad across the board unless you have health insurance.

Lack of heath insurance- See above.

Financial support for public health care.

What a surprise. Everybody eats barbeque for lunch, hasn't gone for a walk except to the bathroom since they were a kid, probably has forgotten to ride a bike, and the passtime is eating. Bunch of fat bastards in this state :) Course, we're just splitting hairs. Even the healthiest states are still full of fat, unfit people dying from obesity and non-excercise.

I knew it!! I didn't even bother to start at the top. I scrolled to the bottom of the list and naturally:

50 Mississippi -22.0

UGH!! Man, this state is the first in everything bad and last in everything good. To think I moved from South Florida to this place...gotta go back...
