How hardcore is Mudvayne?

geno

Ok, lately I've started listening to a few of their tracks, which is very strange because I don't touch rock at ALL! I'm pretty centered around all kinds of Hip Hop and listen to Techno/Freestyle/Dance on the side, so listening to this stuff is something foreign to me 🙂 Just curious, how heavy are they considered to be? Any of their CDs good?

They are fairly hardcore, but not too much. Nothing like raised fist, maybe a little like slipknot though except without the weird masks.

Yea they just paint their faces.

Have you seen the video for Dig?

Or did you see them at the MTV music awards (I think)

They were all dressed in like white suits with a red bullet hole painted on their head

I think Mudvayne is about as hardcore as it gets. I'm not sure if they are just a bunch of disturbed individuals who are mad at their father's. Or if it's all facade made by "the man". Either way, I find their music energetic and entertaining. I've seen them live, they are (like someone else said) similar to Slipknot without the masks. They like to talk up death, killing, and defying everyone who questions you. Chances are you mother won't like them.

Well, I think they're about as hardcore as a band coming out of Peoria, IL can get. (My hometown...wooo!)

I'm still trying to figure out how Iowa managed to create Slipknot. 😕
