How hard is it to write good drivers?! Sheesh...my computer's been rebooted 45454 times!

So I install this Hauppage PVR 150 (love it, by the way) and wake up a couple of days later, and my speakers are giving this incredibly loud screetching sound. I isolate the problem as a hardware/software issue (i.e. the speakers themselves are fine) and figure I'll just reinstall my sound card drivers (Herc Game Theater XP).

Oooooh no.

So I remove the crap (apparenly I did the wrong thing) and now EVERY TIME I click on the driver .exe, it says "removing components...please restart to install new drivers" and reboots for me.

So that's fun. I love Windows.
