How hard is it to RMA an ASUS board?

My A7V has crapped out on me. I visited the ASUS website but the info there seems vague. I did not purchase this from a distibutor or OEM of any sort; I purchased it from an individual. Does anyone have any experience with RMA'ing boards to ASUS? Can anyone shed any light on this subject for me please?

Theyll ask you the problem and the serial # and basically thats it, theyll give you a RMA and you ship it to them... usually takes 3 weeks to a month... but they seem a bit busy right now cause it I just got a board back yesterday from them and it took a month and 2 weeks.
 
Dulanic: Thanks for the tip; I'll try your suggestion. I don't care how long it takes to get a replacement, I just care that I can get it replaced.
