How hard is it to learn unreal4 or blender

Not for the purpose of making a game but being able to make short fly by videos.
I have zero programming skills.

I know this is a vague and irritating question.

I want to do something like the video as a hobby/nerd project.

Obviously I’d use pre-made assets, I’m not against paying for some but obviously this is a side hobby I want to control costs

It's not hard, just time consuming. The trick is finding good tutorial resources. Years ago(15ish) I spent a year learning/Mapping/Mesh Modelling for UT2k4/UT3. I managed to Google some websites back then with all kinds of useful tutorials. I don't recall their names, but I suspect they or some new ones exist. That said, if you are using Pre-Made assets, UE4 is going to have the better selection, does Blender even have such resources by default or would you need to find/download them?

Go into this as if you were taking a College course. By that I mean, start with the Basics and work from there. That is, start by learning the UI, don't just jump ahead to the things that seem to apply to your particular desired tasks. Learning where things are and what specifically they do will allow you greater ability to create the things you want later, because no Tutorial will align to what you desire to create.

It's not programming. It's design.

It will be hard and very time consuming.
