How hard is it to get a real estate license ?

my friend from high school got one...with nothing more than his HS diploma.

Take couple of class in community college and you should be able to pass it plus instructor can tell you what book you can study off to pass it. After u pass the licenses at least in California u are not automatically a broker. I don't remember but you have to work as a sale person for 2 or 3 years for Real Estate Company before you become a broker. Difference between broker and sales person is that when you are a broker you can open your own company

thx for the info.. well I don't really want to sell homes for a long time.. I just wanna buy homes I want for a good price ;)

unless you have a truckload of friends and business contacts don't bother the market Is full of experienced agents why would anyone want to deal with an inexperienced one on the biggest investment of their life. For real though if you are not current in sales and have an extensive client list doing well in real estate is tough at best. sorry for the buzzkill but I have explored that too.
