What kind of Gun License? A license to purchase a firearm, or a license to carry a firearm?

If the former, its just a pro forma process. You're approved as long as you don't have any excluding criminal or substance abuse history, and you pay the fee, of course. There may be a waiting period or something, not sure.

If the latter, next to impossible, unless you are politically connected, or make substantial donations to the campaigns of prominent local judges and prosecutors.

Yes, all the organized crime henchmen have licenses to carry a firearm in NJ. Your average Joe has no realistic chance.

That would probably hurt you chances. People don't like to arm security guards with anything more than pepper spray.

why would you want an assault rifle? a regular bolt action is gonna be more accurate and put a bigger hole in the target

why would you want an assault rifle? a regular bolt action is gonna be more accurate and put a bigger hole in the target
