Some people say that they can tell right away, and some have no idea even if you tell them to their face...same goes with gay people, if you are in a certain place they might try and hit on you.

I am just curious, (we have running debates sometimes over some people, with all the "individuality" these days its hard to tell)

I was sure someone was straight until they stuck it in my poopchute. I guess my gaydar isn't so good
 
i have no frame of reference... i can't say ive ever known a gay person. Ive seen people i thought could be gay, but no confirmation... so i rated my gaydar as 3
 
they did a gaydar 'study' on that 20/20ish show tonight (the real deal?).

they took 5 gay men and 5 straight men and had them talk to some people for a half hour.

the group got 60% correct...50% is considered random guessing.

but the guy that the most people labelled as straight was actually gay.
 
I've got a 10. Last year I lived in one of the most liberal dorms on the planet. That tuned up my gaydar like you wouldn't believe.
 
it was kinda funny (and stereotypical) how the people actually made their determinations though.

they said one guy was gay because his eyebrows were always raised

they said two guys were straight cause they had bad haircuts.
