I have a 2000 SAAB 9-5 with a Frost Grey metallic paint scheme (looks like a dark blue-grey). Last week, it got hit on the interstate by a rock which left a scratch on my hood all the way to the metal.
How well will they be able to touch-up the paint? I've heard metallic paints don't match well as the concentration of flakes is hard to match. Does anyone have any experience? I'd prefer to not pay $500 to get my entire hood repainted, but knowing the mark is there on the center of the hood just drives me crazy.
