How good is this ram: Mushkin Level One DDR PC3500 2x512mb dual pack

How does this stack up to other popular non-value ram?

Here's the details from a store:

1GB PC3500 Level One Dual Pack (2x512MB)
-2-3-3 @ 433MHz
-Dual Bank
-Jet Black 6-Layer PCB
-Gold Contacts
-184pin
-2.5V - 2.75V
-Unbuffered
-Attached Heatspreader (may differ from shown)

Our PC3500 is built on a custom 6 layer PCB using the highest quality 5 ns hand tested discreet components available in the memory industry. Through fine-tuning of the resistor network on the PCB we have been able to achieve the highest possible speed beyond 433 MHz while maintaining the capability for low latency operation. Our custom-designed Heat Spreader reduces the risk of thermal runaway of localized hot spots within the memory core and further increases overclocking margins of the modules. Tested compatible with VIA, AMD, Intel, NVidia and Sis chipsets. Overclockability of your system is dependent on all other components including but not limited to Motherboard, CPU, graphics and PCI cards and other peripheral devices. Our PC3500 eliminates the memory as a potential bottleneck when overclocking. Tested on motherboards with the KT400, P4X400 and NForce2 and Intel 875 chipsets most of which are officially supporting the PC3200 (DDR 400) spec. Overclocking is not officially supported. Please check your motherboard manual for more information.

Mushkin is really good stuff. People haven't used it much yet so it doesn't have a strong following, but our experiences so far have been very positive.

As for that specific one... that price is STEEP. If you are going to spend that much, you can get a nice set of matched 1Gb Mushkin sticks for a few dollars more.

The Value RAM will cost you about 50MHz CPU core speed if you must use a 5:6 memory divider. That's noise in my book, especially when I can purchase 1GB for around $80. Retailers and vendors usually make more $ by selling the premium stuffs.

As an informed consumer, I want to purchase a product that will give me the most performance for the least amount of $. I'm not going to SEE the benefit of the 50MHz bump due to faster RAM. Why should I spend another $170 for that BUZZ factor?
