How good is the Zalman NB32J NB HS?

I'd like to overclock an IC7-G to ~250MHz FSB; would it be safe to replace the IC7-G's active HSF with the NB32J at those speeds with some decent case airflow? Or do I need something better? Anyone have experience with this kind of situation?

when i replaced my active northbridge hs w/ the passive zalman one, it was for noise, not performance. i'm pretty sure that's the point of the NB32J, keeping things quiet. i don't have any proof but i'd guess that ANY active HS would give better cooling than the passive zalman.

If you have some blow-off from CPU fan going to the Zalman, it's as good as any active cooler, and surely better than what the mobo was shipped with. With good airflow you're as well off, too.

In 90% of cases(no pun intended), the Zalman MoBo NB HS, is far better at cooling than any stock cooler. Even if its active. Plus, the excess air from the CPU fans almost allways gets blown in the direction of the HS, which helps.
