I am not sureif I should get an 19"Iiyama Vision Master Pro 451 which is great to look at has a superb picture, but is kind of expensive.

It's cheaper counterpart the 19" S900MT1 is nearly half its price, but is it any good?

I know that the VM451 has the builtin USB hub and arpatchure grille and everything. It is also Flatscreen.

The SM900MT1 is shadow mask and very slightly concaved.

The main thing I really care about is picture quality and the LEAST eyestrain possible.

Any opinions or reviews anywhere?

THANKS

There are, even when you wanna stick to iiyama, a couple of tubes in between 902 & s900mt
The MA 902U is about $100 cheaper and still very good. The S types all are CRT's, good crt's mind you, but if you like the aperture screen and are not bugged by the 2 faint guide lines across your screen go for it then. Crt's don't come close imho.

The monitor is often your most expensive part, but it will last longer then f.i. your cpu. So invest if you can, in a good one. You'll enjoy it for years.

I'd say get the Samsung 900NF, its basically the same thing as Pro 451 except no USB hub.

How much cheaper is the Samsung?

I haven't heard anything about it, except on this forum.

Got any specs?

I dont know about UK, but here in the US, its about $100-150 cheaper than the Pro 451. The specs are virtually identical except the Samsung does 2048x1536@69Hz and the Iiyama does 1920x1440@76Hz, not that big of a difference if you're not going to use such high resolutions, the other difference would be the Samsung only has 240MHz video bandwidth, and the Iiyama has a higher 300MHz bandwidth. Besides that, they're basically the same thing, both has BNC support. Oh the Samsung doesnt have USB hub btw.

Thanks. In the UK, the Sumsung is quite difficult to find. After having a good look, the Iiyama is actually £18 cheaper then the Samsung. Sould I go for the iiyama then?
