Here is the specs for the model I am thinking about. The cheapest one is about $750.

Is $70 worth it for a slighty better video card. (750m gt vs 755m gt) and better display?

Would this be a good budget gaming laptop?

lenovo's consumer line is pretty average for quality. All of the consumer laptops are relatively similar. If you take care of your laptop, it'll usually last you a while. Otherwise, it's a crapshoot.

Alright so how is Lenovo in terms of quality?

do their computers usually last a long time?

I have the lenovo y580. Its okay in terms of quality. Previously had a dell xps 15 (sandy bridge). I can say that build is generally the same (dell had a better keyboard and trackpad but inferior screen and battery). My lenovo I would say is overall better quality (battery hasn't died, skyrim runs at 75-80 degrees vs 98 on the dell and doesn't throttle, can update drivers) but its not macbook quality by any means.

Personally while I don't really like creaking lids and flimsy CD trays its not too much of a problem in my opinion compared to overheating, throttling, crappy screen and a broken battery/drivers. The dell looked prettier but was a big piece of crap (and my brother who bought the inspiron 15 SE is finding out the same).
