I'm building my first system, and I'm planning to get the ABIT KT7 Raid with a AMD 800 T-Bird. Since the FSB speed is 200 ...that should be able to handle the new Kingmax 150's right? Will it be stable? And what's CAS2 and CAS3 all about?

I'm looking for the most reliable and best performing ram...Please give me a few pointers.

The EV6 bus does indeed move data at 200 Mhz, however the spec FSB is 100 Mhz. It seems that AMD gave Via strict instructions about the maximum FSB capability of Via's Athlon mainboards. So PC-150 Sdram will never be needed. If your "gotta have it," can be tempered(don't feel singled out, we ALL have this problem!) a bit, it's probably best to wait for the Athlon(and progeny) DDR mainboards that will hit the shelves pretty soon. While the Double Data Rate motherboards MAY be backwards compatible for plain ol' Single Data Rate Sdram, I'm not counting on it! When the DDR mainboards(AMD first, Intel later) become mainstream, it's most likely that all the Sdram we paid for with blood will be useless. Can I get a "Whaa?"
