Any idea of how good is readyboost for gaming... or is actually a hindrance???

Just got a flashdrive and dunno what to do with it... readyboost sounds like is the only thing i can do with it...
 
It doesn't do anything. Looks like you have enough ram. Readyboost is helps for windows vista apps not games with 1gig of ram lower.

With 4GB of RAM, it probably won't do a thing for you. That said, I had a 4GB drive laying around and enabled Ready Boost just for the heck of it even though I have 8GB of RAM. I figured it will at least get some use this way.
 
lol... just got this 2gb drive some hours ago... got it for ... dunno for what... maybe because it was for 10 bucks...
