Anytime i look for the cheapest prices on cards, Palit is the cheapest.
How good of a brand is this actually? In the past i only had experience with Asus, BFG etc...
I'm actually quite interested in the Palit Jetstream 4gb 680. Don't think it's available stateside yet. Really want to settle on a card by next week.
Personally i woludnt piss on them if they were on fire, they sent out 460 sonics out to reviewers once, with heatsinks on the vrms, customers did not get them.
Erm,just how weird are you?im intrigued.that's because they sent them to the reviewers, duh

Goodluck.
Palit owns Gainward and has access to their technology and expertise. Their 450's and 460's were one of the shortest non-reference design pcb on the market (I owned 450). They are usually very good when it comes to noise levels as well. I highly recommend them. Fear not.Anytime i look for the cheapest prices on cards, Palit is the cheapest.

I've got one of the notorious Sonic 460's without the VRM heatsink, it does indeed get loud faster than any other card I've owned. I shouldn't have had to, but I added a cut down ramsink for better temps, noise levels seemed to have dropped.
Overall, good card, would buy again.
