How good is DVD and AVI Playback on the 8800 GTS

I read someone was having probably with Blacks looking Grey, and Colors being washed out.

I watch Tons of Video on my computer, and if the 8800 GTS is having this problem. I don't want to buy it. Is there anyone that watchs alot of video using the 8800 GTS that can give me a review on Video Playback for the 8800 GTS 320?

Im sure dvd's and avi's play fine, theres no trick in playing those. Most likely a software/codec problem on that guys side.
