How good is a dell 1905fp

i have 2 friends who have this monitor and its nice. found out i can get it at work for less than 300 but i wanted to know just how good it was. repsose time is crazy like 20ms but you can play games without ghosting? how does it differ from other 19? and no im not gonna get a 2405 so dont tell me to get one. first off im to poor and second i can get this through work which means ill have a low paycheck next months lol well let me know your thoughts

A buddy of mine has one and its been working well for him. But you might want to look at the buyers guide here and search for some reviews online. I found some good results on www.inods.com.

i have a dell 1905fp...didn't have any problems yet..i had it for half a year already...

well, i've noticed some ghosting in counterstrike 1.6...but nothing for cs:source.

There is also some ghosting in need for speed most wanted...but i think its just cuz of the motion blur thingy...i've tried underground 2 without motion blur and no sign of ghosting.
anyways, i haven't encountered some very very noticeable ghosting in any games or movies.

While the 2001FP has a black level problem, I have no clue if the 1905FP does.

According to flatpanels.dk the 1905FP can use either of these panels.

Dell 1905FP has a 19 inch 20 ms PVA (Samsung LTM190E4-L02) eller et 8 ms P-MVA (AUO M190EN03 V0) panel.

It's no telling which you'll get. Colors should be quite good with either, but I'm not sure about response time on the Samsung. I am also not sure if the 1905FP uses any ADCC (overdrive).
