I have ordered a TT Silent Boost as here I can't manage to buy a SLK-800. I'm thinking of putting a Smart Fan II in that heatsink and would like to know your opinions of how could it perform.

thx

forgot to say I have a 2500XP@2800, but I'm going to push it to 3200 as soon as I get new RAM.

I really like the Silent Boost, I think it's a quality product by ThermalTake. Though no one can give you a good estimate on how it performs... it depends on the contact from the CPU and the heatsink, the speed at which you put your SmartFan to and your case cooling. Remember, a faster fan doesn't always constitute better cooling. You won't see a dramatic difference, just look at a few degrees celcius drop or less.
