I just bought a:
Intel Pentium 4/ 3.2E GHz 800MHz FSB, 1MB L2 Cache, Hyper Threading

and one of my friends say that the heatsink that comes with it is good enough

One of my dad's associates say that you should buy aftermarket heatsink.

The retail boxed heatsink is good enough for modest overclocking. If you find it a little noisy, use a zalman "fan mate 1", about $5-7. I adjusted mine down to 2500 rpm.

The retail heatsink should be fine unless you intend to go for max overclocks. Just use the black material that it came with on the bottom.

You want to keep your 3 year warranty as well and be able to complain to intel. :D

The retail HSF isn't too shabby.

My 1.6a is running at 2.6GHz prime95 stable on the retail sink.
