How good are Jaton Video cards?

How good would a 32 mb PCI TNT2 card be? The brand name is Jaton.

Jaton is really basically Trident.. hehe Remember Trident a few years ago? It was just a cheap card. It still is.
A 32Meg Tnt2 Pci card would be comparible to a Voodoo 2000 probably. It's basically a piece of crap now considering all the cards that are out there.
I have a Tnt2 Ultra card and it's not too much better.

my voodoo3 2000 is awesome dude. for the $20 i paid over in FS/FT... i'm happy as a pig in mud.

I second that motion, stay far far away from Jaton they have had there share of qualtiy assurance issues. I rember an old issue of Maxium Pc someone wrote into the watchdog taht they kept having hard drive failures with Jaton...

I once bought a Jaton Trident 975 vga card with tv-out (they're kind of the first maker using that chip) from one of their distributor directly (at that time no retailer carries it yet). The s-video tv-out works fine, but the composite tv-out gives b&w. The distributor has no solution. So I asked Jaton, and they has no solution too. So I only have 2 words - it sucks.
