So I have been wanting a 4-wheeler for a while, bit don't really want to throw down 4-5k for a new one, or evern a used on at that. I have a 92 mustang that is just sitting in the builing that I would be putting up for sale in a month or two, but I had somoene offer me a trade last night, lmk what you think about it.......

THEIR
2001 Yamaha 660R Raptor
---Average Hours
---Some Wear from use (Not a big deal to me, i know its used so its gonna look used)
---New Rear Tires
---New Sproket and Chain
---100% stock as far as I know.

for MY
1992 5.0 Mustang
150k+ Miles
BBK Shorty Headers, Mac Off-Road Exhaust, CIA, 70mm Mass-Air-Meter
Aftermarket ROH Wheels (Clearcoat coming off rear wheels)
95GT Seats
L(If Kept/Bought buyer would most likely need the tranny rebuilt shortly as it needs senchronizers, and the motor smokes and uses a little oil between changes also.)

In its current condition, I think I could sell my mustang for 4-4.5k If I started out asking 5.5k, They sell pretty well in this area, I might would have to take as low as 3750 but that is really bottom dollar, and only if I didnt have much luck selliing it.

I have seen various prices on the Raptor 4-Wheelers, so It seemed like a pretty fair trade value wise to me from what I saw as long as the 4-wheeler is in decent condition, I will see it later today but just wanted some more opinions on it before I went to look......

If you know anything about these 4-Wheelers lmk what to look for when I look at it/ride it today.

Thanks,
Josh

Well I like my mustang and I am torn about selling it, but its sitting and If I keep it I will slowly drop about $10k into and thats relaly the last thing I need to do right now in my life.....

hevnsnt, any reason why you say do it?

And yea its 150k I edited the first post. Now way I would get rid of it with only 150 miles, I hope it wouldnt be smoking and need senchro's either :p

I wouldnt think your stang would be worth that much to be honest, unless it is in very good shape. Raptors have a fairly good resell. If you want a quad I say go for it. Raptors are NUTS. I rode my buddies, and just barely blipping the throttle in third gear will walk it like nothing. You can lean back and pin it in sixth and easily walk it for miles with balance. I love them. I say fair trade :D

Its in better shape than MOST mustangs in my area, but it has its fiar share of defects. I figure I can unload either of them for about the same price +/- a few hundred.
I have heard stories about what raptors can do, I guess Ill find out today :p
