Hi there

I am looking for a new MB. But I do not know anything about the Brand SOLTEK or SL-75DRV2.

I have just read the good rewiews.

Maybe that should be enough though.

Cheers,

If you mentioned which reviews you have already read, it would be much easier to think of which ones you haven't... TomsHardware.com had a review, so did these guys.

Look on Google.com for "75drv2" or even just soltek 266a. You'll get more.

Yeah, I really appreciate your reply.

What I was looking for was, reply from people who owned the MB, maybe they had any comments which they would like to share with me.

You know that Tests is one thing, and real life preformance is sometimes another.
That is at least what my experience with computing tells me.

Thanks in advance.

First of all, you originally asked for REVIEWS, not for user feedback. I pointed you to reviews. Also, the board is relatively new, so few people probably can tell you anything about it. You can see user feedback on NewEgg.com - look for "soltek" and click on "read reviews" under that product (this tells you what customers who bought it think).

Also, reviewers usually pay a lot of attention to stability and performance, and that's the same as you would do in your "real-world" tests. Running Quake3 and 3d Mark for hours is a great stability test.

I think the Soltek SL-75DRV2 looks like a very stable and reliable board. Coupled with the free software that is included with it and it's a winner. I'm making out an order for one tonite even. I'm going to pair it up with the XP 1800+.

According to the TomsHardware review and word of mouth from owners of the board, the Soltek 75DRV2 is very stable and a great overclocker.
