How goes a 8600GT compare with a X800XL?

I know the 8600gts is ~ 7900gs but the 8600GT is a much slower card. I scored a 8600GT really cheap so I'm deciding which one I should keep...

I concur. The 8600GT is considerably faster than the X800XL.
