now i thought this scam was a NYC thing I didnt realize it must happen all over...
Few weeks ago I was in Boston visiting a buddy, some guy pulls up to us as we were walking around the city, at first I thought he was gunna ask for directions... but he gives me the pitch "hey I work for an electronics delivery company and they just accidently sent us two orders, so we have an extra surround sound system i'm letting go cheap cuz its hot...."... i laugh and tell him good luck with his scheme (i kno a guys gotta make a buck in this day and age, but I don't give a sh1t... it was so obvious he was scheming) he gets so offended by my comments that he attempts to get out of the car (while its in the middle of an intersection) as if he's going to attack me... i just look at this mess and laugh at him.... and I'm by no means big or intimidating (5'9 180) and my friends kinda big (6'1 210 football player)... but this guy was about 250 lbs, a fat sloppy mess almost trips over his own feet gets back in his car and drives away cursing...
later that day the same thing happens with another guy, I laugh and tell him that his friend tried to get me earlier, he smirked and drove away...
twice in an afternoon, kinda funny... just a dumb story...
