I posted before that those video benchmarks are useless in my opinion.... fastest settings? I will buy their 80+ fps when they encode at high quality WITH audio also.....
I don't honestly know. It will be coming from my Sony DCR-TRV22 camcorder and be going onto a DVD. I didn't really think that far ahead.
Coming from the camcorder will surely be DV type I (3.6 MB/s, directshow, audio in the "video" portion of the AVI container intelaaved). What is the program you will be using to convert it to DVD?
Will you be buying the computer based on the decision? Will you be filtering to make it brighter, soften grain, apply titles and transitions or just encode directly?
Aparently easy and straight forward, but not so fast. If you have roxio videowave 5 or older, no matter the settings or format it will encode faster in the Athlon....
