How fast will the AMD XP+ Socket A's go before the next processor?

I'm wondering this because im planning on upgrading my motherboard to a MSI Ultra 2 (333). Im kinda pissed because I bought a Asus A7M266 last year with the perpose of upgrading my Thunderbird 1.4 later on, but thats not possible since this board wont support the new XP's.

Anyway just wondering how fast of a XP+ will I be able to upgrade to after AMD releases its next processor?

amd will keep the socket A processor line active for atleast one more core revision (barton)
my guess would be atleast 2800+ maybe even over 3400+
it will be cheeper then a hammer based system and will have a place in the market so i would think AMD would continue it's production atleast into next year, just not as their main priority
