ok here's what i have..a 512mb PC3200 DDR 400 Mhz and i have another stick that is 512mb PC2100 DDR, but what i dont know is the speed, i saw another PC2100 DDR which is 266Mhz, so i'm assuming the 2nd memory stick i have (pc2100) is 266mhz ?
anyhow, so with both of them i will have 1gig of ram, question is, will it use the 266mhz speed? because that's the lowest of the two, and will that be better ? running 1gig of Ram at 266Mhz or running 512mb of ram at 400mhz?
hope you all understand what i'm trying to say if not i'll try to elaborate on it
