How Fast is you InterNut ?

Are you sure that the measuring unit is Speed?

EVDO rev-0 through my cellular provider, usually about 600kbps down and 90kbps up, but here's the catch, ping of 300-400ms (!!!) to US servers. Unfortunately broadband options are limited where we live, so this is about as good as it gets.

in the past I signed up with 3.0/768 speed and I got 2800 download and about 700 upload now verzion lowers my upload speed to less than 225 speed I called verizon why they said they have no control with internet speed. oh well and I live 1200 feet from CO.

1300 up 310 down. I know.... pretty poor, but when you are in the boonies you take what you can get :disgust:😀 and at less than 20.00 it gets the job done. My ping times are ok usualy under 75ms

8000/786 up via Comcast - $45 a month. Properly configured upstream QoS and a 20 gig web proxy/cache on the router make it "feel" faster for basic web surfing with a healthy mix of VOIP, gaming and some occasional torrents across the WAN.

Waiting patiently for FIOS... 🙂
