Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for your time and your vote.
Secondly, after reviewing all the answer from "Please vote, router poll", Netgear wins your vote as of today 4/29/01 20:00 EST (11 votes in comparison with 8 for Linksys, 8 SMC Barricade, one for 3COM, one for SOHOware NBG 600 4, and one for Cisco 678. Results obtain from collecting answer in three forums Anandtech, Speedguide and DSLR). Based on my research and comments from users having RT314, the Netgear is the fastest one out there. Is the RT314 speed (download mostly) substantialy faster than SMC Barricade? If so by how much, can anyone give me a rough idea / percantage? Is there any router's benchmarking out there?
