How fast is newegg?

I just placed an order for a hard drive to be shipped overnight from newegg. Is there a good chance that I'll get it tomorrow? I figure it is early in the day, so they have time to process, but I don't know if they are a same-day-shipping type of place. Because of the weekend, I REALLY want a delivery tomorrow and not Monday.
 
You should get it tomorrow, I bought a DVD drive from them last week, in theearly afternoon, and when i got home that night there was an e-mail for me with the fedex tracking number.
 
newegg was very fast for me. I placed an order on a Thursday evening and recieved it on Monday morning. It's possible you'll get it tomorrow, but they ship from California and you're on the East coast so maybe not.

how come if you use a business address it comes faster?

is there more priority?

becasue i ordered a new soundcard for my dad... on Newegg shipped it to his business.. 2-3 days...

and his bosses.. i got his from newegg but shipped to my house and took like 7-8..?!

 
I overnight ordered a drive & burner from them at 3pm EST and both were already at my office when I came in the next morning at 9am. This was from coast to coast even (CA to MD).

Residential and commercial delievery are usually made by different people. Residential can take an extra day or so, no idea why such a big difference. Maybe it was low in stock and they shipped the 2nd one a few days later.
 
I ordered my 8K7A on a Thursday at 4pm MST and did the overnight so I could hopefully get it on Saturday for a weekend build. It showed up at 2pm and Friday! So I would say be ready for FedX tomorrow.
 
Newegg is usually fast and efficent. Why don't you use Newegg's tracker to track your package? When I oredered my 1.33 Athlon I checked on it every hour!
 
It's usually luck of the draw. I've ordered from Newegg many times in the morning and my order still didn't ship until the next day. (I've had about 50-50 luck with them shipping same day.) MWave has always shipped same day if I order before 2 or so Pacific time.
 
yes they do deliver very quick i order a video card express saver took two days ordered a 1.33 Ghz from pcboost same delivery took 6 days !! go figure
 
i ordered yesterday (late in afternoon, so i didnt expect it to ship until today) but its pretty late already today, and its still on step 4
but it says it will ship by 6:00pst (about 45 minutes from now)
 
I just checked the online tracking. It says &quot;Your Tracking Number will be upload here at 6pm PST 7/19/2001&quot;. Sounds like it was shipped...I did an overnighter.

I have had pretty much the same experiance with them also. My GF3 arrived next day and I only used the express saver. Last weeks order took 4 day untill they shipped and this weeks order was placed Tuesday morning and its in step four right now.
