How fast is maxtor RMA?

My 6 week old Maxtor 200GB 8mb cache hard drive went down in flames. How fast can I expect Maxtor to replace it? I will mail tomorrow.

Aye, about a week total IIRC. After they got my drive it didn't take long for me to get it back.

A week to 10 days sounds about right if I remember correctly.

Depends on whether you do the standard or advanced RMA. I did the advanced and got the new drive in about 4 days. Standard takes a little longer.

You can get them to send the replacement immediatly (before they get your dead drive). You just have to give them your credit card number. Should only take like 2 days.

if you do the advanced RMA, you will generally get your new drive in a couple days.
