how fast is a 1.5mb connection?

Hey. I have a 1.5 MB connection and I believe it is underperforming.

I am just wondering, whats an average maximum download speed that most people get on this speed. Usually when I download something, its usually at 150mb/s and never exceeds this. I am just wondering if my internet is underperforming

I believe you met 150kbyte/sec which for a 1.5mbit connection is the fastest you will get. Follow Jack's link, it explains it. A 1.5mbit connection is 187.5kbyte (max) but when you go real world it's about 150kbyte/sec
