How fast can you type?

I don't see how putting the letter 'r' randomly throughout words is a good test of typing skill.

487/5 = 97 is what it said it is. It says I'm skilled. I've had a couple of shots of vodka though and my dexterity is not 100%. I know that I could break 100!

Weird - mine was all real words and sentences except for a single one that was like QOCD:

 
If i could type what i wanted... 🙂 ...would be funny, this test doesnt decide how many words you can type a minute, it decides how many words you can project onto the screen from "reading" text per minute. This is not how fast you can type, how fast you can type depends on how fast you can type, simple.

true, but i think this thing is testing the worst case situation...which is data entry 🙁.

Data entry? three words CUT AND PASTE

And if your entering from paper, why would you need to? so you can print out the exact same copy as the one in your hand?
 
I've made position 49&50 for today's top 20. 😀 That's 82 and 84 wpm.

I think my average is probably in the 70's (for this kind of test).
