Ants. Yes, ants! I'm watching a program on the Discovery channel about ants, how they communicate, work, live as a society. It's really fascinating to know that they're the ONLY species other than human that keeps domesticated pets.
I think if I have to compare them to a political system, would theirs be monarchy or socialist communistic? Frankly, none of the ants are in any hierarchical orders, but they have different roles. Communication is extremely efficient through chemical and vibration. They are possibly the strongest living organism on the planet (pound for pound), and can stick to smooth surface better than spiderman can.
So, if we as human were to have all of the ants' properties and efficiencies, while retaining ours, could we have been better off? (Rhetorical question?)
//while this is not as exciting as "I slept with my cousin" thread, I figure it's something to do while I'm extremely bored and disappointed at a lot of things/persons. Pardon my rant.
