How far will the stock fan take me?

I'm new here and apologize in advance if this question has been asked time and time again. I'm picking up a AMD 64 3200 Venice core and looking to do some mild to moderate OCing (10-20% increase at most). If there is good air circulation in the case, will the stock fan be enough to keep the processor relatively cool at those speeds?

Welcome to AT. If you running AMD, its noted as running cooler than Intel. I use stock fans on my rigs, but since I don't O/C or play games, my CPUs at load is around 45C.
My old P4 ran at 55C, I considered that normal.
If you follow the threads in AT, there is a need for cooling, but realistically Intels, not AMDs.
If you need it, get it. If you don't , AMD it.

From experience, the stock cooler from AMD is not that good. Compared to my Freezer 64 Pro, the load temps are 10 degrees higher (45C compared to 35C) at near-equal room temperatures. If you're going to OC about 10%, it should be fine. For a 240Mhz HT, you could potentially increase the voltage...which would produce more heat.
