How far will geforce4 4600 prices fall??

does anyone consider these good buys?? or would you rather spend the money on an ati 9500 pro??

i currently have an ati 8500 and i really like the dual monitor support i have, i've got a 17" Dell LCD on DVI and a Samsung 19" on the analog connection.

would it be worth spending money on upgrading ? to the 4600? or would a jump to the ati 9700pro make more sense?

Upgrade to 4600-not worth your time

Excuse me, but could you please list some thing that don't run on your system because of a problem with the speed of your graphics card?.....Okay then. Why not wait to upgrade?

The jump to the 4600 would be barely noticable. A complete waste of money in my eyes. Unless you absolutely must be running ultra-high levels of aa, the 9700 wouldn't be worth it either (at least to me).

this is kinda funny considering it was posted by gf4200isdabest, a suspicious mind might even call it sour grapes. 🙂

i currently have an Asus A7N8X mb w/ a 1700+ Palo, (will be replaced by the 2700+ as soon as it arrives was shipped out friday), 512 mb of Corsair ram, 2 30 GB WD HD.

I'm not a major gamer, etc. so i probably don't need it, but it's nice to have it just to say i have it. 🙂

i probably won't upgrade btw, i was just more or less commenting on the price of the 4600.

Prices won't fall for a long time... I don't think you should upgrade your graphics cards. Trust me, if you have a duel display and the monitors arn't the same model, your going to go back to single.

You mean cause the dizziness and such??

i know that when i fire up both monitors i get vertigo, i guess it's because they both work at different frequencies yes?
