How far should I push my new chip?

I am building my new P4 system tomorrow and was thinking about doing a small overclock for fun. I will be building:

3.0c (stock cooling)
P4P800 Deluxe
1 gig Corsair XMS PC3200

Should I be able to hit 3.2 to 3.4 without much effort?

Forsaken, he said he has 1 Gig of ram! You didn't make very good grades in math, huh? So the question is, do you have 4x256, or 2x512? Anyway, people are getting somewhere between only 3.2-3.3 and up to 3.9 or slightly more, as shown here. Hardware Hell has a new overclocking for noobs page here.

Any brand-name low-latency ram is good enough. Corsair is more expensive (as you know), because it's the most popular. Anyway, I'm sure you'll be very happy with it, but you'll probably want to run it at a 5:4 memory ratio, so you can keep the timings low, since you paid $250 for low latency Corsair...

That stock cooling and stock thrmal pad wont take you too far....I would look at getting a zalman 7000cu heatsink for serious ocing...

I don't want to get too "serious", just about 3.4.

However, if I decide to push it further, what is considered the "high end" heatsink/fan for P4's? I am just familiar with what is best for AMD chips (SLK800 or SLK900). Overclocking a P4 is going to be somewhat new ground for me.
