You will note from this threading conating offical Intel specs that the EO stepping Precot is pin-compatible wiht the DO stepping Prescot whcih is pin-compatible wiht the CO stepping Prescot.
Also, the "DO" is more power efficient than the "CO" and the "DO" is more power efficient again.
So - we can conclude that EO Prescot will be avbaible for Socket 478.
And we can also sumize that DO Prescots will beat least 2 times mote power efficne tthan the current CO stepping.
So .... given that sampes of the EO went out on June 2, when can I buy one !!!!!
