I am starting a new job soon, it will be 18 miles or so each way. Just want to compare.

Traffic is not bad, so it should be 30-40 min, a lot of it its city driving.

1.5 miles each way, if I drive it takes me 7 minutes, if I walk it like I have been for most of the summer it takes about 15-20 minutes.

What do you guys think its reasonable...I see people here have a vast range...How do you spend over an hour in the car? Does frustrate you?

When I was commuting 30 miles (~1 hour) it drove me nuts. Now that I commute 1 mile (5 min drive 15-20 min walk) I am much saner.

3.2 miles. I used to bike to work but road construction has really made a mess of the surface streets.
