I know there are several asses on AT, but how far can someone go before the AT mod community gets tired of the behavior and bans them? Case in point, user1234. I don't know if he's gone far enough for banning... but he certainly isn't pleasant, consistently exibiting trollish behavior.
It all started when he thread crapped in five or six FS/FT threads, either lowballing in the thread, or rudely telling people that their prices were too high (again, in thread). Supposedly, for all that, he only got a final warning. He hasn't done so again, to my knowledge. Here are those threads for reference:
here...
here twice...
here, one of which he edited...
here, all through the thread
and here was one in which he edited out his lowball comment.
He's
accused Newegg of price gouging, and throughout the thread, attempted to act as a moderator while doing so. He's started a Microsoft bashing thread accusing Microsoft (without proof) of spying via Windows Update. Again, probably not bannable... but still, I would think that rampant trolling wouldn't be permitted on a consistent basis.
He's also resorted to name calling. Most recently, here's an instance where he calls someone,
"you fool", completely unprovoked.
He continues to be an ass to people in other threads. Here's a thread in which he's an ass to someone in the Motherboards forum. I might expect trollish behavior in P&N, but not in the Mobo forum.
I don't know if any of this, individually, is enough to get him banned, even after his past behavior on FS/FT, but after all, that's why I'm asking in this thread. Perhaps the whole ball of wax is enough. Probably not.
I don't know how far is too far. I just know that I'm tired of user1234 being an ass and a troll for no apparent reason to some good folks on the forums.
Anyone else want to add to this? Thanks.
We are aware.
