How far is 2000+ can go?

How far does the Athlon XP 2000+ can go as far as overclocking is concern? I know it depends mainly on the cooling system and other factors but I mean in a simple cooling system like water cooling or air cooling (not vapochill or kryotech). Someone i know is debating that his 2000+ has reached equivalent to 2200+ and even more with just air cooling. I don't think that is possible?
 
even agoia cores (regardless of speed) will not go above 1.8ghz without a voltage bump. my xp1600+ will not go and higher on default voltage (currently 166X10.5-1743mhz). i just rpaired my water cooling system, gonna do a voltage bump see if it will hit 1.9


for you i'd suggest a xp1600 from newegg (normally you will get an agoia core), just pop it in with a decent air cooler and you should be able to just set the fsb at 166 so you'd have xp2100+ speeds.

don't waist your money on anything faster
