heya guys
I'm about to build a AMD Athlon XP DDR based system and I'm making my decision on the RAM now

What I'd like to know is on average how far have you been able to overclock your Crucial 2100ddr ram? this is a link to the rams specifications
http://www.crucial.com/store/PartSpecs.asp?imodule=CT3264Z265

basically i'm hoping it can make around the 160fsb mark if i'm hoping to overclock my CPU the only real other option for RAM is Australia is the Kingmax 2400 DDR so if you have any overclocks with that brand please include information on that as well

thanks for your help regards SlaYeR

Can't get my Crucial to 138 with 2.5T without random single bit errors. MANY folks can't... These are errors which aren't detected with most memory testing software. You need either MemTest-86 or DocMem...

I'm shopping for some PC2400 myself. I started to order some Mushkin, but believe I'll wait a while and see what they come out with next.

I had my PC 2100 up to 154 and ran 3dMark 2001. That is as high as i could go though, not even one more notch

BTW I can adjust the voltage to my ram with the board I have......... Oh and that is with all the ram settings to HIGH

thanks alot guys i ended up ordering 2 256mb sticks of the crucial. Brutas thanks for giving me the other side of the story sounds like those programs really give the ram a test out but does this matter if the ram runs stable at higher fsb speeds with every day to day application i will use it for?

thanks again regards SlaYeR

i've seen it up to 180FSB! mind you, you need a voltage mod to get that kinda figure. this was on an Abit KG7
