how far can the xp2000 go?

lookin to see how far the cpu can be overclocked. default is 1667.

It really depends on cooling, mobo, ram and the stepping.

However, I just OCed my friends XP1900+ and we got it to 2004+ without unlocking it.

All you can do is try it *** But Be Careful!***, bump the FSB a little @ a time, boot to windows then run a game or something to check stability. If it runs well and nothing crashes or anything, try a Little more just be careful

Why are you underclocking it? Or are you talking about a lower CPU?

Ytf is everyone like "omg take it slow", "be careful".... Do it however you want, the worst that could happen is that you're forced to reset the bios using the jumper on the mobo....

i seen the 1500+ top out at 1600mhz..........it will depend on luck and cooling
