HOw far can I push this mobo/proc? xp2700 asus a7n8x

I have the asus dual channel a7n8x mobo and a new xp2700 barton chip. I know how to build systems but I am new at overclocking. Can anyone offer suggestions as the best way to overclock this. I changed the multiplyer from 13 to 13.5 and it only went to xp2800. I turned the multiplyer to 14 and it said it was at 2332 mhz, however it wouldnt boot. I had to reset. When I change the fsb frequency it is not changing the cpu at all. I am running an xp2500 barton at xp3000 on an ecs l7s7a2. Any suggestions an my asus board and chip or am I doing all it will do?
