I'm searching for a DVD+-RW for the next year. Right now DVD ROM drive are no faster than 16X. Currently a Plextor DVDRW drive here is prettty good. Its expensive but I reading users opinion of their products, that it is highly worth it.
My question; Will the plateau of the DVD ROM speed be the same as the DVDRW speeds. Is it futile to wait and wait for a 40X DVDRW drive or get one when a 16X DVD RW is available because it wont get any faster.
