How far away can you be...

and check out a woman without getting busted for it? I'm referring to a work type of situation where you're approaching someone down a hallway. How close can you be before your "optical angular deviation" can be detected? I'm thinking about 15 feet or so.

A few inches actually. I'm always starin at my hairdresser's big boobs. She doesn't seem to notice (something about operating a pair of sharp blades around a client doesn't let her detect my "optical angular deviation".)
