I've done a 90 minute commute before. That would be the upper limit for me.

depends completley on how much traffic I'm expecting and how fast of a car I can afford....

I live, go to school and work in the city. 30 min commute if I drive, 60 min if I bus. Wouldn't have it any other way. It's the damn traffic that's causing the long commutes. Everybody's driving. If I drive, I have to walk a mile to work from the place I park my car.

less than 25 minutes, or I won't do it. Not worth my time. Currently I'm a 25 minute highway drive (in good weather), and the snow we've had in the last couple of days makes it closer to 35. :| Doesn't sound too bad, but several of my friends have hit animals this year, and/or gone into the ditch.

Right now I live 120 miles from my office. Just today I decided that I can't take this much longer (and I've only been here a few weeks), even though the company pays for me to stay in a hotel every work night.

edit: i live about 3 miles from work, so my trip is 6-15 minutes depending on traffic.
i could deal with a half-hour, but probably wouldnt live any further than that.

Depends on the neighborhood, I suppose. I guess I'm fortunate that all three of your options are within 10 minutes of work. :)

Mine used to be 75 miles/90 minutes, I would NOT do that for an extended period of time. 40 minutes seems pretty reasonable now. My current commute is < 10 minutes (4 miles)

My work is planning on moving. They are about an hour away from me now, they are moving another 40 mins away, no thanks.

Unfortunately, I really can't say what I'm doing right now. It's not a full-time permanent position, though, so I'm probably going to stick it out as long as I can handle being away from home.

I may be transferred closer to my home, though, in which case I would be very very happy with my current company. ;)
