How far are Amazon delivery drivers driving to make their deliveries?

For my same day or next day deliveries I'm seeing the tracking start out in Los Angeles. I'm about 60 miles from there. I get they're making other deliveries along the way but that's quite far. Or are they just using Los Angeles to refer as all of Southern California and they could be coming from a distribution center closer to me? I'm talking about the drivers who use their own cars and not driving Amazon's delivery trucks.

I work for a company that does some Amazon distribution here in canada although that is not our main focus. Our drivers have very small delivery areas, the all leave from a central depot but their actual delivery areas per driver are only maybe a few square miles. Most drivers do around 80-150 packages a day, and sometimes 30 of those can be in one large apartment building, so in a really densely populated area they arnt covering alot of ground to do their deliveries.
