Do you mean Cash On Delivery? If so, it means that the recipient of a package/mail pays money to the delivery person when the delivery takes place. Payment can either be in cash, money order or check form depending on the delivery company and/or the sender. The delivery company then transfers the funds to the sender (usually in the form of a check).

Yeah, but COD is SLOOOOOW!!! It took me over 2 1/2 months to get $700 from UPS. That sucked.

I use FedEx COD all the time. I send an Air-Express-COD package out on Monday, they receive it Wednesday. FedEx overnights the Money Order back to me in an Express Overnight envelope which I get on Thursday. I only do this on higher dollar items of $500+ or when the buyer specifically asks for it. Works perfect everytime!! :)

USPS COD does suck, though!
